Rafael started his advertising career in London in 2004. He worked for 2 years at Grey London as an art director, and later freelanced in various agencies. In 2008, Rafael was called to join the Ogilvy Brazil team in São Paulo, this time as a copywriter. He had a crucial role in the agency’s creative transformation that led up to its Agency of the Year win in Cannes 2013. He also won several awards including Cannes Lions in Film, and was lead creative for the Coca-Cola 2016 Olympics campaign, among other global campaigns.

In 2016 Rafael took the role of Creative VP at DAVID São Paulo and has been there ever since, working with clients such as Burger King, Coca-Cola and Nestle.
